Jr NTR fans pour milk and blood on his massive 50-foot cutout ahead of 'Devara' release

Young Tiger Jr NTR will be next seen in the highly awaited upcoming film, 'Devara: Part 1' starring alongside Bollywood stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. For the last couple of weeks, the makers have been promoting the film and the hype among the fans has been increasing as the release day gets closer.

Now fans are seen taking the craze and another level. Pictures and videos are circulating on social media where fans are seen cleaning and worshipping a massive 50-foot cut-out of Jr NTR in one of his 'Devara' avatars.

Fans poured milk and even blood on the cut-out, in a traditional gesture that indicates their respect and adoration for the actor. A cut-out garnered tremendous attention when a large number of people were present before it who cheered and brought in celebrations.

Earlier, the shake of 'Devara' was felt all the more after the event scheduled for its release on September 22 was cancelled as a result of attendance being so overwhelming that authorities had to deal with the issue of exceeding venue capacity. Jr NTR was advised to not attend for safety reasons.

Directed by Koratala Siva, 'Devara: Part 1' is set in the coastal islands during the 1980s and 1990s. The movie has bloodshed scenes and intense action and water sequences. This might have reflected the fan's reaction to the cutouts.

Advance bookings for Devara have opened in various regions, with reports indicating that tickets are selling quickly.

Jr NTR plays dual roles as Devara and his son Varadha. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music.
