Is Prabhas and Hanu Raghavapudi's upcoming historical fiction being made on a Rs 400 crore budget? Here's what we know

Prabhas was seen making waves with the success of his last film, 'Kalki 2898 AD' directed by Nag Ashwin, and the actor is currently busy shooting several films with renowned directors. One of his upcoming films is with filmmaker Hanu Raghavapudi, known for the blockbuster hit 'Sita Ramam'. Reports now suggest that the film is going to be produced on a grand scale.

According to a report by Telugu360, the collaboration between Prabhas and Hanu, tagged as #PrabhasHanu, is expected to have a budget of Rs 400 crores. The film is anticipated to be one of the most high-profile projects in Prabhas's career. Rumors indicate that this film might revolve around a story of soldiers and is tentatively titled 'Fauji'. It is a historical fiction set in the 1940s. Reports further reveal that the Hyderabad shooting schedule is currently underway.


Pictures from the puja ceremony for the film earlier this year generated a lot of buzz, and social media influencer and dance choreographer Imanvi is set to appear alongside Prabhas in this project.

On the work front, Prabhas will next be seen in 'Spirit', directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and 'The Raja Saab', directed by Maruti. 'The Raja Saab' is scheduled to release on April 10, 2025, featuring Malavika Mohanan and Nidhi Agerwal in key roles. Fans are also eagerly awaiting his return in 'Salaar 2 - Shouryaanga Parvam', directed by Prashanth Neel, as the prequel was a massive hit earlier this year.

There are also rumors about Prabhas collaborating with Prasanth Varma and Lokesh Kanagaraj for two additional films, although official confirmation is still awaited.
