Celebrities are usually the last people you'd expect to be introverts. It may seem counterintuitive, but many famous actors and larger-than-life personalities are actually very shy. Some of these admittedly reserved superstars of Telugu cinema include Prabhas, Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan who have been enjoying a demigod status among the masses. Despite delivering stunning performances on the silver screen, these actors become extremely reserved when it comes to public gatherings, promotions and interviews.

During the star-studded pre-release event of ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’, music director MM Keeravani stated that Prabhas has a kind heart, shows zero-attitude and doesn’t know how to throw tantrums & behave like a typical star. It’s already evident to everyone that the 40-year-old actor is the benchmark for utmost dedication, shyness, unmatched humility and the sweetest off-screen personality. His commitment during the entire process of Baahubali franchise for almost five years makes him incomparable with his peers. He even rejected a 10-crore endorsement deal to solely focus on the epic action film and that is called true professionalism. Every year, Prabhas spends lakhs of rupees towards charity but unlike most celebrities, he doesn’t speak a word about it.

Since the beginning of his career, Pawan Kalyan has been labelled as an introvert superstar who is extremely shy among people. On numerous occasions, Chiranjeevi too admitted that his younger brother is very reserved. After enjoying demigod status in the Telugu states for two decades, Pawan has ventured into politics by floating his own party in 2014. After a two-year- break, the 48-year-old Power Star is making a silver screen comeback with ‘Vakeel Saab’, the Telugu remake of Bollywood film Pink. He is reprising the titular role played by the legendary Amitabh Bachchan.

For the most part of his career, Mahesh Babu has been a shy person off the silver screen. However, from the past few years, he has become more proactive when it comes to film promotions and media gatherings. Unlike his contemporaries, he is highly active on social media platforms and shares special moments from his personal life with fans. After the back-to-back debacles of Brahmotsavam and Spyder, Mahesh Babu bounced back into top form with a hat trick of successes namely Bharat Ane Nenu, Maharshi and the recent blockbuster Sarileru Neekevvaru. For the first time in recent years, the 44-year-old actor has stunned the viewers’ with his terrific dance moves in Mind Block song.

Naga Chaitanya is busy wrapping up his upcoming film ‘Love Story’ directed by sensitive filmmaker Sekhar Kammula. The recently released promo of Ay Pilla from the romantic-drama struck the right chord with the viewers and Chay’s soul-stirring expression when leading lady Sai Pallavi kisses on his cheek out of the blue has hit the bull’s eye among the youth. Unlike his wife Samantha Akkineni, Chay has always been an introvert and shy person when it comes to interviews, public gatherings and social media as well. The 33-year-old actor is riding high with the back-to-back successes of Majili and Venky Mama.

At just 18 years, Nithiin made his protagonist debut in Telugu cinema with director Teja’s 2002 film Jayam. Helmed on a shoe-string budget, the romantic-drama managed to stun the film fraternity by registering some astonishing figures at the box-office. Since then, the talented actor has come a long way with over 25 films to his credit. Bouncing back to form with the recent success of Bheeshma, Nithiin is all set to tie the knot with Shalini, an MBA graduate hailing from a traditional family in Telangana.

Like his best friend Prabhas, Gopichand Tottempudi is an introvert and extremely shy individual. The 40-year-old handsome hunk is married to Reshma, niece of Tollywood Hero Srikanth in 2013. The couple are proud parents to two boys. Presently, Gopichand is playing the role of a Kabaddi coach in Sampath Nandi’s sports-drama Seetimaarr. Starring Tamannaah Bhatia as the leading lady, the film features Digangana Suryavanshi and veteran actress Bhumika Chawla in pivotal roles.
