Sushanth's finest roles

Tollywood actor Sushanth celebrates his Birthday on March 18. The talented actor, who turns 34, made his debut with G Ravicharan Reddy’s action drama Kalidasu in 2008. Before taking up acting full-time, the Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo actor worked as an electrical engineer at United Technologies in Farmington, Connecticut. Sushanth will be next seen in Darshan’s Ichata Vahanamulu Nilupa Radu. Meenakshi Chaudhary has been roped in to play the love interest for Sushath in the film, which will also star Vennela Kishore and Priyadarshi, see music by Praveen Lakkaraju and editing by Garry BH.

Current

The actor hit the limelight for the first time when he essayed the role of a happy-go-lucky college student whose philosophy of life is summed up as enjoy the life to the fullest without any worries in Palnati Surya Pratap directed-film Current in 2009. The stellar performance of Sushanth won him many laurels. Another highlight of the film that remains fresh in people’s memories is its music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. He generated the soundtrack that was packed with hit songs. The rom-com was a commercial and critical success.

Adda

Adda featured Sushanth as a young bloke who runs a company that provides a unique service of creating rifts between couples to the parents. He falls in love with a girl who approaches him to end the affair between her sister and her boyfriend. Courtesy his remarkable acting skill, the love story rejoices, and he did full justice to the character. Shanvi Srivastava was paired opposite Sushanth in the film. Anoop Rubens had delivered a couple of beautiful soundtracks for the film, which was bankrolled by Sri Nag Corporation.

Chi La Sow

Between 2014 to 2018, Sushanth starred in a couple of films. While he was pretty good and films were moderate successes, his performances weren’t received well, till Rahul Ravindran directorial film Chi La Sow came along. Playing an immature bachelor, the actor was again in the spotlight. He stunned the audience with his splendid work in the rom-com. Debutant Ruhani Sharma left the viewers in splits with some beautiful scenes. Akkineni Nagarjuna in association with Jaswanth Nadipalli had backed the project Siruni Cine Corporation and Annapurna Studios.

Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo

A born baby is switched at birth with a millionaire’s son in the film. After growing up suffering neglect and criticism from his father, he finds out the bitter truth. Sushanth played the role of millionaire’s son, Raj Manohar in the film. He showcased his versatility to the utmost excellence. From silent man into talkative, this film had it all. This film boasts of a stellar star cast; Allu Arjun, Pooja Hegde, Tabu, Jayaram, Navdeep, Nivetha Pethuraj, and others. Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the film earned him immense acclaim and firmed his position in Tollywood cinema.
