Sindhu Menon was born to a

Kannada family

and can speak not only in her mother tongue Kannada but also in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and English.

In April 2010, Sindhu Menon tied the known with a UK-based Telugu information technology professional,

Dominic Prabhu

and they had two children together, Svetlana and a son. She happily gave up the limelight to revel in her role as a wife and homemaker.
