Getting the whole family involved was a lot of fun: Aadarsh Balakrishna
What started off as a simple Instagram challenge for Aadarsh Balakrishna soon turned into a fun activity the whole family could do together.
On Saturday, the actor released
“I procrastinate a lot by nature, so my family gave me a deadline to put the video out by this weekend because I was taking my own sweet time to do it,” reveals Aadarsh, adding, “They were surprised too that I finally managed to do it. But yeah, this is the first time I’ve done something like this, be it rap or shoot and edit a video all by myself. I write for myself but the first day I tried, I couldn’t put a single line on paper.” The Bigg Boss Telugu star soon found his groove though and the going was smooth from there. “The video took me a few days on a whole to write, shoot, conceptualise and edit. But I’m glad I did it because the response has been good,” he adds.
Aadarsh calls The Karona Rap, a ‘homegrown project’. “Seeing as how we’re all in quarantine, everything was done at home. My wife handled the cam in the shots I’m in but otherwise I shot it. My sister designed the poster,” he says, adding, “This video comes from a very personal space for me. It was good to get the whole family involved. It was so fun, I’m contemplating on making a few more videos like this before the lockdown ends.”
