First Look: Samuthirakani turns into Chandram Master for ‘Aakashavaani’

On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, the first look of versatile actor Samuthirakani from the upcoming Telugu film ‘Aakashavaani’ has been unveiled by the makers. The 47-year-old will be essaying the role of Chandram Master in the film which is set against the hinterland backdrop. While the genre and the plot are strictly kept under wraps, the poster indicates that Samuthirakani has two different dimensions in his role. On the front, we can notice calm, composed and settled Chandram master and to the side, we can see his intense and aggressive look.

Sharing the poster on his Twitter handle, debutante director Ashwin Gangaraju wrote “"Between God & Science, there is a TEACHER and that's him" Samuthirakani @thondankani as ‘���������������� ������������’ in #Aakashavaani”

Bankrolled by SS Rajamouli’s son Karthikeya, Aakashavaani went on floors in 2019 and it was mostly shot in the hill belt of Paderu in Visakhapatnam. Along with a village set, the pepper and coffee plantations in the area were used extensively for the shoot. While a bunch of acclaimed technicians are working for this small-budget project, almost 90 per cent of the cast are newcomers.

While the shooting and the post-production formalities have already been wrapped up, the film is expected to hit the theaters once they get re-opened. Recently, the first look poster of the film was released on Raksha Bandhan.

While Sreekar Prasad is the Editor for Aakashavaani, Sai Madhav Burra has penned the dialogues and MM Keeravani’s son Kaala Bhaairava has composed the music. Ashwin Gangaraju who has worked with Rajamouli as an AD and associate scriptwriter is making his directorial debut with this flick.
