Dear Comrade special screening held in Mumbai; Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna grace the stage

Released amid massive expectations, Vijay Deverakonda’s recent outing Dear Comrade fell flat at the global box-office. Despite garnering favourable reviews from critics, the romantic-drama failed to impress the viewers’ owing to its slow narration and incoherent second half. However, the crackling chemistry between Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna has been appreciated by one & all.
And, here comes a surprise.The Bharat Kamma directorial got released on a digital streaming platform last week and since then, overwhelming reactions have been pouring in from netizens. Several twitterati are expressing shock as to how a well-made emotional film like Dear Comrade failed at the ticket counters.
Meanwhile, a special screening of the film was held the other day in Mumbai. Along with Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, few celebrities and noted critics have graced the show which was organised by Bollywood media circles.
Before the release itself, ace filmmaker Karan Johar saw Dear Comrade in a special screening and immediately announced that he is going to remake the film in Bollywood. The cast is yet to be announced.
