Chiranjeevi, the iconic megastar of the Telugu film industry, is all set to create a buzz in the action-thriller genre with his upcoming project 'Bholaa Shankar.' The film, which is being directed by Meher Ramesh, has been generating a lot of excitement among fans since its announcement. Recently, the makers shared some behind-the-scenes pictures from the Kolkata schedule, which featured the lead stars Chiranjeevi and Tamannaah Bhatia in their respective roles.
In the film, Chiranjeevi is essaying the character of 'Bholaa Shankar,' a taxi driver with a mysterious past. Tamannaah Bhatia, on the other hand, is playing his love interest. The pictures from the Kolkata location show Chiranjeevi in a taxi driver's signature outfit, while Tamannaah looks every bit the part of an advocate in her black and white suit.
'Bholaa Shankar' is an official remake of the Tamil blockbuster Vedalam, which starred Ajith Kumar in the lead role. The film has an ensemble cast of talented actors such as Keerthy Suresh, Murali Sharma, Ravi Shankar, Vennela Kishore, Raghu Babu, Tulasi, Sri Mukhi, Bithiri Sathi, Satya, Getup Srinu, Rashmi Gautam and Uttej essaying pivotal roles. The music for the film has been composed by Mahathi Swara Sagar, and Dudley is the director of photography. The film is slated to release on August 11th, 2023.
