'Subbu' directed by Rudraraju Suresh Varma, Jr NTR starred alongside Sonali Joshi in a romantic drama. The film tells the story of two people who fall in love without ever meeting, and their quest to find each other. Jr NTR’s portrayal of a kind-hearted and spirited college student. Despite his commendable performance, the movie did not gain the recognition it deserved, making it an underrated part of his filmography.

Directed by Surender Reddy, 'Oosaravelli' featured Jr NTR as a Tony a small time goon who falls in love with a woman in unusual circumstances. As the story' progresses it shows His character’s journey to avenge the deaths of her family members was gripping and emotionally charged. Despite being one of the best collaborations between Jr NTR and Surender Reddy, the film received a mixed response. The films also has Tamanaah Bhatia and Prakash Raj in the key roles.

Directed by VV Vinayak, 'Samba' showcased Jr NTR in a powerful role as the son of an underworld don. The film tells the story of a don who builds schools in his village to provide basic education, only to be murdered by his ambitious son-in-law who takes over his business. Jr NTR’s character seeks revenge and fulfills his father’s dreams, delivering one of his most intense performances.

In 'Ashok', a high-voltage action film directed by Surender Reddy, Jr NTR starred alongside Sameera Reddy. The movie was high on emotional content and action sequences, yet it failed to capture the audience’s attention as intended.
