V Samudra’s social drama

Jai Sena

stars Srikanth and Sunil in lead roles, with the shoot wrapped up and post-production in full swing.

The film which comes with the tagline ‘Power of the Youth’ also stars

Azad

in a key role. “I play the role of an antagonist in the film, that of the main antagonist’s son. I am so happy to have gotten this role.” The film runs around the concept of youth and agriculture, he adds. “Students take up the onus to protest and protect the farmers being exploited by the people and government both,” he says.

Azad reveals he has acted in more than 70-80 films so far, playing negative shades. “I have wielded the muscles in films like Intlo Deyyam Naakem Bhayyam, Chakram, Seema Sastry, Race Gurram,

Sarrainodu

and more. I’ve been acting since 18 long years,” he says. However, Azad is now even crossing film industries for he’s all set to act in a character which has shades of grey in a

Tamil

film. “I’m even acting as the lead in the

Bhojpuri

remake of Aadi Pinisetty’s

Mrugam

,” he says, rounding off.
