Ashika Ranganath introduced as Ishika in Kalyan Ram's Amigos

Aashika Ranganath, known for her roles in films like James and Garuda, has been roped in for Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s next titled Amigos.

The actress’ look and name from the film has been revealed with the makers writing, “Introducing the gorgeous & talented actress @AshikaRanganath as 'Ishika' from the intriguing world of #Amigos. (sic)” The actress looked adorable in the poster and fans are excited to see her in the film. Shooting for the film is in its final stages, with the post production taking place simultaneously. The makers are planning to release it on February 10, 2023, right on time for Valentine’s Day.


Amigos, which is the Spanish word for friends, is directed by debutant Rajend Reddy. Kalyan Ram’s look from the film and the title were also recently unveiled and received good response. Movie buffs are also curious to know if the film will run on the theme of friendship, given the title. Kalyan Ram was last seen in Bimbisara, which was a massive hit. The actor has always picked unique subjects but the film saw him pull off two different characters with ease. He will also soon be seen in a film titled Devil and further details are awaited.
