Abhinav to make Kannada debut

After playing a protagonist in youthful Telugu films like Tejam and Harmones, Abhinav Patel is set to make his Kannada debut. The actor, who���ll be seen in a political thriller Vyuha, directed by RP Patnaik, says that his role in the film gave him an opportunity to hone his acting skills further.
���I played youthful characters in my earlier films, but working for a Kannada movie brings a different experience.I play one of the leads in the film, which exposes the scandals and corruptive practises in society. The role gave me a chance to augment my acting skills. I learnt a lot from RP Patnaik and I���m very grateful to him,��� says the actor.
Abhinav will also be starring in a couple of Telugu projects, one of them being a suspense thriller Gate, to be directed by Sai Rajesh. ���My role in the film will have mass shades and it���s an author-backed role,��� Abhinav says, adding that he feels lucky to get experimental roles early in his career.
