​9 Indian films that will release in multiple languages in 2022

There is no doubt that the Indian film industry is growing by leaps and bounds and the upcoming year- 2022 will be even more successful in fact it'll be a remarkable year in the history of Indian cinema as more and more Pan-Indian films are getting made and released with unique content from different regional industries uniting all language moviegoers into one. This would only make Bollywood grow bigger and wider in the future. There are 9 confirmed films that will release in multiple languages and a few films like 'Laal Singh Chaddha' and ' Ram Sethu' that have chances of getting dubbed into regional languages sooner or later. Therefore, here we compile a list of nine Pan-Indian films that are slated for 2022 release from various film industries.

​‘Major’ – 11th Feb 2022.

Major is a biographical action film directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka that is jointly produced by Sony Pictures and G.Mahesh Babu Entertainments. The film shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi and later dubbed to Malayalam is based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who was martyred in the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks in the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. The film has Telugu actor Adivi Sesh Playing the title role, whereas Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi Nair and Murali Sharma play other pivotal roles in the movie.

​'Gangubai Kathiawadi' – 18th Feb, 2022

Gangubai Kathiawadi is a biographical crime drama directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali that is produced by Jayanthilal Gada of PEN Studios. Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt plays the lead role in the film that talks about 'Gangubai Kothewali, a young girl sold into prostitution by her suitor Ramnik Lal, and how she becomes the madam of a brothel in Kamathipura'.

The film also has Vijay Raaz, Indira Tiwari, Seema Pahwa, Varun Kapoor and others playing other pivotal roles is reportedly slated for 18th Feb 2022.

​'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect' - 1st April 2022

Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is also a biological drama film based on the life of former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan, who fought for years for justice after being falsely accused of espionage. The film written, Directed & Produced by R.Madhavan also plays the lead role in the film. The film has Simran, Rajit Kapur, Ravi Raghavendra, Misha Ghoshal, Karthik Kumar, Gulshan Grover and several others play other important roles In the film is slated for 1st April 2022.

​‘Radhe Shyam’ - 14th January 2022.

‘Radhe Shyam’ is an upcoming period Sci-fi romantic drama, that is written and directed by Radha Krishna Kumar starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles. The film is shot in Telugu and Hindi languages simultaneously with a whopping budget of Rs 350 Crores. The film will have veteran actors Bhagyashree and Krishnam Raju playing other important characters in the film that is slated for 14th January 2022.

'KGF: Chapter - II' - 14th April 2022

This is one of the most awaited Pan-Indian films for long, after the stupendous success of ‘KGF – I chapter’ starring Kannada actor Yash. The film is a period action drama written and directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under his ‘Hombale films’. The film is the second instalment of the two-part series that also stars Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon and Prakash Raj playing pivotal roles is slated for 14th April 2022, competing Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ at the box-office. The film is getting released in 5 languages through its dubbed versions.

​‘AdiPurush’ – 11th August 2022

‘Adipurush’ is an upcoming Indian mythological film based on the Hindu epic ‘Ramayana’. The film is being directed by Om Raut and it is jointly produced by T-Series Films and Retrophiles. The film is shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu languages that stars Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon and several others is reportedly one of the most expensive Indian films ever to be made. with a whopping budget of Rs 500 crores, which is slated for 11th August 2022.

​‘RRR’ – Jan 07, 2022

‘RRR’ is an upcoming Indian Telugu language period action drama written by K.V.Vijayendra Prasad and directed by SS. Rajamouli starring Jr.NTR, Ramcharan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris. The film will also have several other international actors who will reportedly play other important characters in the film. The film is made with a whopping budget of Rs 400 crore which is slated for Jan 07, 2022.

‘Ponniyan Selvan: I’ – 2022

'Ponniyan Selvan-I' is an epic – historical fiction film directed and co-produced by Master filmmaker Mani Ratnam based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s 1955 novel of the same name. The film has an ensemble star cast such as Karthi, Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Rai, Trisha, Jayaram, Sobhita Dhulipala and Aishwarya Lekshmi, while several other senior actors are playing other pivotal roles in the film that is slated for 2022 release. The film is also made hugely with a whopping budget of Rs 500 crores that will have a multi-language release like the directors earlier films.

'Salaar' – 14th April 2022.

'Salaar' is an upcoming Indian action thriller film written and directed by Prashanth Neel starring Prabhas and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. The film is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under his Hombale films. The film shot simultaneously in Kannada and Telugu will have its dubbed versions released in Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. The film has its music produced by Ravi Basrur while its cinematography is handled by Bhuvan Gowda. The film is also reportedly made with a huge budget is tentatively slated for 14th April 2022.
