Jr NTR is one of the actors in Tollywood who has carved a niche with his stunning looks and impeccable acting skills. In his career of two decades, the actor has won hearts with his performance in various genres. In fact, not just his dialogues but his swag has also been a rage which has immortalised some of the characters played by Jr NTR on the silver screen. One such character which has turned out to be iconic happens to be Krishna from the 2010 release Brindavanam. Interestingly, as Brindavanam completes 10 years of its release today, we bring you five reasons why this Jr NTR starrer continues to be our favourite entertainer.

Interesting premise
This romantic action-comedy, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, had actor Jr NTR playing the role of a multimillionaire son Krish, who pretends to be Bhoomi’s lover after asked by his girlfriend Indu. Krish impresses Bhoomi's family but a surprise awaits him. The film Brindavanam was a superhit from the dialogues to the music, everything was a big hit. Starring Jr NTR, Kajal Aggarwal and Samantha in the lead, the film garnered praises from all across the country and went on to become one of the most loved movies in Tollywood.

Jr NTR’s performance as Krish was on point
Jr NTR’s swag turned out to be a rage among the fans and one couldn’t get enough of his style. He had his unique style of dealing with the goons and of course a different way of romance as well. Watching him in a new avatar was a complete treat for the eyes. It was the first time the actor played such kind of character onscreen. The Vamshi Paidipally directorial gave us a new Jr NTR with an interesting story which had all the elements of an entertainment package - drama, emotion, romance and action.

Kajal and Samantha’s chemistry with Jr NTR
Brindavanam starred Kajal Aggarwal and Samantha in the female lead roles. Kajal was seen playing the role of Bhoomi in the movie and her chemistry with Jr NTR was a breath of fresh air for the cine-goers. Although Samantha didn’t get enough screen time in Brindavanam, the actress did manage to leave a mark with her performance. She essayed the role of love interest to Krish, Indu in the film.

A great ensemble of cast added brownie points
Apart from the lead cast, Brindavanam also featured Prakash Raj, Srihari, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Mukesh Rishi, Pragathi, Ajay, Tanikella Bharani, Brahmanandam, Hema, Venu Madhav, Brahmaji, Ahuti Prasad, Raghu Babu, Surekha Vani, Sithara, Prabhas Seenu and Raghu. Each character did justice to its role and added weight to the story. While we loved watching the scenes between Jr NTR and Srihari, Krish’s equation with his father Surendra also grab attention. On the other hand, Ajay’s stint as the lead antagonist also won him a lot of appreciation.

Brindavanam came with dialogues that became popular in no time
Brindavanam was not just backed with a powerful story but also had impressive dialogues which continue to be popular among the fans even after a decade. Some of the popular dialogues from Brindavanam are – ‘’City nunchochchadu..... veedikem telusanukuntunnaremo.... character kothagaa vundani try chesanu. lopalundi originaley,’’ ‘’ Veseyaalanukunnappudu...Veseyadame...naaku addochchavanuko...vesestha..,’’ and ‘’Maa naanneppudoo.. antuntadu. Music by Thaman struck the right chord with the heart
Music forms a key element of every movie and Brindavanam also had a superhit album. Each track from the movie turned out to be a chartbuster be it the peppy track Suride Suride, the love track Nijamena or the mass number Chinnadho. In fact, Brindavanam songs continue to be popular among fans until now, thanks to S Thaman for delivering such a fantastic album.
