'Hi Nanna' box office collection day 2: The family drama is performing well in the US

Nani and Mrunal Thakur starrer Hi Nanna was released in theatres on December 7. Directed by debutant Shouryuv, the film has been receiving a lot of positive response in theatres and it has earned more that Rs 6 crore on day 1 and Rs 5 crore on day 2 at the box office. The film has made Rs 11 crore at the box office totally in two days and it is expected to earn double before the weekend as the movie's occupancy for Saturday and Sunday is very high.

The movie was earlier slated for a release on December 21, but the filmmakers had preponed it as it will crash with Prabhas's 'Salaar'. The movie apart from working well in India has also done good in the US and it has reportedly grossed $650K there at the box office. Taking to social media, the official distributors revealed that the movie is a success in the states.

Actor Nani watched the film's premiere in USA and he is also on a promotional tour there. He will be visiting many cities there in US to meet his fans as well and the tour is said to go on till December 12. The movie is a family emotional drama and it stars Nani, Mrunal Thakur, Baby Kiara and Shruti Haasan in important roles. The music for the movie is composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab.

On the work front, Nani has also started the work for his next film 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' with director Vivek Athreya.
