‘
Arjun Reddy’ star
Vijay Deverakonda has been on a high ever since his film garnered cult status with fans. Now that the ‘Pelli Choopulu’ star even has a role in upcoming Savitri biopic ‘Mahanati’ and is all set to make his Tamil debut with director Anand Shankar, it’s no wonder the star feels grateful for all the love bestowed on him.
This Christmas, Vijay Deverakonda turned ‘DeveraSanta’ and decided to surprise 50 ‘rowdy boys and girls’ from his fan-base with customised gifts that he handpicked.
Few days back, the actor took to his social media and posted a video along with the caption, “My Rowdy boys and girls :) you've been good this year. DeveraSanta is coming to bring you an Early New year's.” (sic)
In the video he can be seen handpicking the content for his gift boxes and pegging them with handwritten notes, thanking them. He decided to thank fans who loved his film and even took it really personally, deciding that thanking them on a stage just wouldn’t be enough. In the video he says, “This year you have sent me lots of love, now I want to send some love back.” (sic)
Few days back, he even uploaded a video of him making the special delivery to the students who had drawn out a colourful muggu of ‘Arjun Reddy’ on the road. He surprised the students at their college canteen amidst fans screaming and clicking his pics. He even revealed to them that he shot for ‘Pelli Choopulu’ right where they were standing much to their delight. At the end of the video, he states that he feels really good having done that.
For those waiting for him to personally deliver their boxes, do not. Because the actor also stated in the video that as much as he would want to meet and deliver every single one of the boxes personally, he cannot because he’s taking a much-needed break for New Year’s. But hey, at least he’s sending love your way right?
