Shakti Soundar Rajan’s Teddy, starring
Arya and Sayyeshaa in lead roles, is said to be a one-of-its-kind attempt in Kollywood because of the CG involved in creating a special character in the film, which the makers claim will appear for more than an hour.
The team had earlier released lyric video En Iniya Thanimaye and a teaser which had duration of around one-and-a-half minute.
On Wednesday morning, the crew came up with another lyric video. Titled Marandhaye, the 5-minute video has Madhan Karky penning the lyrics and Imman composing music. Pradeep Kumar and Jonita Gandhi have lent voices for the song, which was shared on Twitter by Arya, Sayyeshaa, Shakti, Madhan and Imman on their respective accounts.
Imman posted, “Here is my next song #Marandhaye frm #Teddy in melting vocals of @pradeepvijay n @jonitamusic starring @arya_offl n @sayyeshaa Produced by @StudioGreen2 n directed by @ShaktiRajan a @madhankarky lyrical! Hope this embraces in our tough times. Praise God!”
Teddy has cinematography by S Yuva and editing by T Shivanandeeshwaran. The team had initially planned for a theatrical release in May. With the ongoing coronavirus attack, it has to be seen when the makers are planning for a release.
