It’s been more than a year since
Suriya’s last film Thaana Serndha Koottam released. After several postponements, it was announced recently that
Selvaraghavan’s NGK and KV Anand’s multi-starrer Kaappaan will hit screens on May 31 and August respectively. The latest update on NGK is that its first single, composed by
Yuvan Shankar Raja, will be released on April 12.
Yuvan, who was the regular music director in Selva’s first three movies, is now back again with the filmmaker.
This is the composer’s third project with Suriya, after Lingusaamy’s Anjaan and Venkat Prabhu’s Mass. NGK has Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh playing the female leads.
It has Suriya essaying the role of a full-fledged politician named Nandha Gopalan Kumaran. Meanwhile, the puja of #Suriya38, to be directed by Irudhi Suttru fame Sudha Kongara, took place recently, but the status of Selvaraghavan’s Nenjam Marapathillai and Mannavan Vanthanadi is yet to be known.
