Anirudh's Thumbaa promo video clocks 1.5 million views in 24 hours

has crossed 1.5 million views on YouTube in less than 24 hours of release.

, who is the mastermind behind this creative video, which has won over kids.

“We, as a team, were confident that kids and family audiences always love movies based on adventure-fantasy genre, just as how films in this genre from western countries run to packed houses for months. However, to see this kind of reception for our Thumbaa is beyond our imaginations. We never thought a film comprising a new team would have such a reception. Thanks to my brother Anirudh for being supportive in this creative process and new attempt. He gave the nod to be part of this video without even a second thought,” says Harish, has been an associate to Durai Senthil Kumar and has worked in movies like Ethir Neechal, Kaaki Sattai and Kodi.

Anirudh will be composing a song for Thumbaa while the other tracks and background score will be delivered by the young and sensational musical duo Vivek-Merwin and Santhosh Dhayanidhi.

The film has the young, handsome Darshan (of Kanaa fame), Keerthi Pandian and Dheena in lead roles. While Naren Elan is handling cinematography, editing is done by Kalaivanan with Action 100 choreographing the stunts. Ram Raghav and Prabhagaran AR have penned dialogues with Vasuki Bhaskar and Pallavi Singh designing costumes. Visual effects by team Knack Studios — Villavan Kothai G (VFX Creative Director), Sri Rengaraj J (VFX Director) and Chandramohan J (VFX Producer) — is going to be one of the most salient features of this film, which is an out-and-out family and kids-centric entertainer, which is scheduled for release in summer 2019.
