Kamal Haasan meets Rajinikanth as part of ‘Vikram’ promotions
‘Vikram’ is now one of the most anticipated movies in Kollywood this year. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the movie features Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles. With the film scheduled for its release on June 3, actor Kamal Haasan is on full spree in the promotions. The actor met Mohanlal on May 28 in Kerala, and today, May 29, Kamal Haasan met actor Rajinikanth along with director Lokesh Kanagaraj and Mahendran in Chennai reminiscing their decades old friendship.

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan wedding invitation
The most trending couple of Kollywood, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are reportedly tying a knot on June 9. The couple earlier planned to get married in Tirupati, but now it has been reported that the duo has planned to get married in an intimate way in Mahabalipuram. ‘Thalapathy 66’ shoot schedule1 wrapped up
Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, Vijay’s upcoming bilingual film ‘Thalapathy 66’s first shooting schedule was wrapped up. After the movie announcement, the first few scenes were shot in Chennai and then it was moved to Hyderabad. The movie makers through a poster announced officially that first schedule shooting has been completed. The movie has Rashmika Mandanna playing the female lead and the movie in its cast also has Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Shaam, Srikanth, Sangeetha Krish and Samyuktha Shanmuganathan.

‘Suriya 41’ rumours
Actor Suriya is now currently working with director Bala for the tentatively titled ‘Suriya 41’. Rumours were raised that the film was shelved halfway as the actor and director had a misunderstanding. But breaking all the rumours, actor Suriya shared his look from the film stating that he is waiting to start the second schedule shooting of the film soon.

'Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal' final box office earning
Vignesh Shivan’s ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal’ featuring Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha in the lead roles was released in theatres on April 28. The film ran in theatres for nearly 25 days and it made a box office collection of Rs 70 crore globally. The film made its digital premiere on May 27 and it has now been pulled down from the theatres reportedly.
