Vivegam box office collection Day 5: Ajith’s film performs well internationally

is not only running to packed houses in India, but beyond the borders as well. The film that recently smashed Rajinikanth’s Kabali record and surpassed the collection of Bahubali 2: The Conclusion collection, during the weekend is doing well at the international

The film not only dominated the screens during the Ganesh Chathurthi weekend, but is now said to be the fourth highest opening Ajith film in UK with £ 106,977. In the US, the film has collected $452,263 so far. In France, the film has got more than 8,000 entries during the opening weekend. Vivegam has overtaken Hollywood films and has grabbed the second spot in Malaysia. With the shows still running to packed houses, the film is said to become a blockbuster. In India, advance booking for the film continues at a brisk pace and it looks like Vivegam will continue to dominate this week as well.

The film marks the debut of Vivek Oberoi and Akshara Haasan in Kollywood. The Siva-directorial has Ajith and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead. Music for the film is by Anirudh Ravichander.
