Actor Vijay Sethupathi-starrer'Maharaja' directed Nithilan Swaminathan, which hit the screens on June 14 turned out to be a huge hit getting positive response from the audience and critics. With the film completing 100 days at the box office, the team celebrated the success of the film.
The makers of the film gifted the director a luxury car on the success of the film. Interestingly, the film, which released on the popular OTT platform Netflix on July 12, also has turned to be the most-watched Indian film on the popular platform in 2024. A success shield was presented to the members of the team during the 100th day celebration.
Produced by Passion Studios, the film's cast includes Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas and Natty Natraj in important roles with music composed by B Ajaneesh Loknath. 'Maharaja' marked the 50th film of Vijay Sethupathi.
The ensemble star-cast of Maharaja includes Abhirami, Arul Doss, Munishkanth, Boys Manikandan, Singam Puli, Bharathiraja, Vinod Sagar, PL Thenappan and few more prominent actors as well.
