Vijay Antony says he will take up farming if AI takes over cinema!

With ever-growing technology, artificial intelligence (AI) is the new internet that has taken over all fields. Actor, producer, and music composer Vijay Antony said in a recent chit-chat with producer Dhananjayan that he will take up farming if AI takes over cinema one day.

Directed by Vijay Milton, 'Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan' stars Vijay Antony in the lead role, and the movie was said to star Vijaykanth in a prominent role. However, after shooting for one scene sequence, the legendary actor's health started worsening, and he later passed away, giving the option to the makers to use AI to have his character in the film. However, they did not go ahead with the plan as only the presence of the actor in real life would make it powerful and not otherwise.

Stressing the use of AI, the actor and composer shared his fear of how technology is replacing humans. He mentioned that the AI now reduces unnecessary manual effort but does not remove humans from the circle all together, and in the future, if a day comes when AI makes human jobless, he would not think twice and jump towards agriculture farming.

The actor, who is busy with the promotional event of his soon-to-release film 'Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan', said that the film is about a man who faces trouble in life whenever it rains. He noted that a series of dramatic events change the character's perception of life and how he remains reclusive.

Explaining that with his film, the makers have tried something new by not having any lines for the lead character for the first 40 minutes, setting a base for the reflection of his character aloofness. The film is an action thriller directed by Vijay Milton, and it stars Vijay Antony, Sarath Kumar, Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, and Megha Akash in prominent roles.
