Tamil is one of the busiest film industries in Indian cinema, with numerous films being churned out every year. Even though we haven't seen any big releases in the last few weeks, there are several biggies under production, and the shooting of those films has been progressing steadily. From 'Vettaiyan' to 'GOAT, the leading stars of Tamil cinema have kept themselves busy with their respective projects and here are some updates on the shooting progress of upcoming Tamil biggies.

'Vettaiyan'
Rajinikanth is working on 'Vettaiyan' with director TJ Gnanavel, and the film shooting is just days away from completion. The final schedule of 'Vettaiyan' is to commence in Trivandrum, Kerala in a few days, and it's going to be a short one for Rajinikanth and his team. So, we can expect the wrap-up announcement of 'Vettaiyan' this month, while the makers haven't locked the release date for the film yet.

'GOAT'
Vijay's film with director Venkat Prabhu has been titled 'GOAT', and the team wrapped up a schedule for the film in Kerala recently. Vijay and the team have now gone to Russia for the next schedule of 'GOAT' and it's going to be an important schedule. The main stars of 'GOAT' have also gone along with Vijay and Venkat Prabhu to Russia, and it will be a schedule of 2 to 3 weeks at the foreign location.

'Vidaamuyarchi'
Ajith is set to complete his motor trip soon, and upon his return, he will begin the final schedule of 'Vidaamuyarchi'. The team will be heading to a foreign location for this extended schedule, And the entire filming of Magizh Thirumeni's directorial 'Vidaamuarchi' will be wrapped in the middle of May.

'SK 23'
Sivakarthikeyan has joined hands with AR Murugadoss for his next after 'Amaran' and the film has been tentatively titled 'SK 23'. The shooting of the film is progressing at great speed, and the team has already completed a schedule in Chennai and Pondicherry. The current schedule of 'SK 23' is taking place in Chennai, and the team is reportedly filming an action sequence involving the lead actor.

'Suriya 44'
Suriya joined hands with Karthik Subbaraj for his 44th film, and the announcement of the first-ever union of the duo has surprised fans. 'Suriya 44' is set to hit the floor this April, and the muhurat puja of the film will take place shortly.
