'Varisu' first single will be a 'Kuthu' song

Vijay's 'Varisu' is heading firmly as per the makers' plan and the film is expected to be wrapped up soon. The first single from the film is expected to be launched during the occasion of Diwali, and the official announcement will arrive soon. Now, the latest report is that 'Varisu' first single will be a 'Kuthu' song. Thaman is scoring the music for 'Varisu' which will be the composer's first film with Vijay. The composer is eager to deliver his best for the film, and the first single will be a folk song. A picture of the composer at the recording studio along with several folk instruments which is doing the rounds on social media has excited the fans.

Meanwhile, fans are eager to hear an official announcement on the film's first single launch. The shooting of 'Varisu' is happening on the outskirts of Chennai, and some action sequences have been shot during the schedule.

Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, 'Varisu' features Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles with Prakash Raj, Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Shaam, Khushbu, Sangeetha, Yogi Babu, and Samyuktha among others in supporting roles. Reported to be an emotional family drama packed with romance, comedy, and action, 'Varisu' is scheduled to release for Pongal 2023, and it's going to be a grand release for Vijay to start the new year.
