One of the reasons is mishaps that take place on the sets that lead to delaying the film's process. 'Indian 2'

Kamal Haasan joined hands with director Shankar for 'Indian 2' and the sequel to the 1996 Tamil film started rolling in 2019. But unfortunately, the majestic crane, which was used on the set, broke and fell on the workers who were present on the set. This incident happened in February 2020. Three died and 10 were injured due to the accident, and the film work got held for over two years. The makers have donated a sum of money to the families of three, who died at the 'Indian 2' set, and they also helped the injured ones to overcome the injuries.

'Viduthalai'

Vetrimaaran directorial 'Viduthalai' features Soori and Vijay Sethupathi in the main roles, and the film will be released in two parts. While the final stage work was going on briskly, a martial artist named Suresh died when the rope fell during the shooting. Despite precautionary measures like first aid treatment including an ambulance being available for the safety of the crew on the set, the team couldn't able to save Suresh. The shocking demise of stuntman Suresh stunned the 'Viduthalai' team and the makers shared their grief and pain over the stuntman's demise.

'Pichaikkaran 2'

Vijay Antony is next working on 'Pichaikkaran 2' and he is making his debut as a director with the film. Vijay Antony was filming for an underwater action sequence in Malaysia a month back. However, the stunt scene went wrong, and Vijay Antony's water boat got crashed. Vijay Antony suffered a jaw and nose injury and was rushed back to India to undergo major surgery. However, the spirited actor is recovering well and he is set to resume the film shoot soon.

'Mark Antony'

The upcoming film 'Mark Antony' features Vishal and SJ Suryah in the main roles, and director Adhik Ravichandran recently filmed an action scene involving over 100 artists.
