This 'tomboy' Shika has class!

There���������������������������re still six hours for the shoot to start, but Shika is already excited and more than ready.
The lass has been working hard on her dance moves for three days on the trot and she���������������������������s eager to know how it���������������������������ll come out.
Being a balle balle kind of song, it���������������������������s but natural that Shika has practised a lot.Having had a dream debut in Kannada with Gaalipata, the actress is sojourning to woods closer to Sandalwood with hopes of a similar debut. The actress is making her debut in Tamil with Kola Kolaya Mundhirika (KKM).
���������������������������My character in the movie is tomboyish,��������������������������� says Shika with enthusiasm. A few seconds later, she adds, ���������������������������In a classy way,��������������������������� just to make sure that we get the point. ���������������������������I���������������������������ve wanted to play this kind of a role ever since I joined movies.���������������������������
Talking about KKM, she���������������������������s super excited about the team she���������������������������s working with. There���������������������������s Madhumitha of Vallamai Tharayo fame, who is directing the film, which has dialogues written by the ever-hilarious Crazy Mohan. Karthik Kumar (remember Poi Solla Porom?) will be playing Shika���������������������������s pair in the film, and she has only good things to say about her young co-star. ���������������������������He���������������������������s full of energy on the sets. It���������������������������s almost as if he never gets tired!��������������������������� she says.
So, what���������������������������s the storyline of KKM? ���������������������������It���������������������������s about a bunch of people who go in search of a treasure,��������������������������� she reveals. ���������������������������Some of the scenes are so hilarious that we���������������������������re finding it hard not to laugh while reading the dialogues. It���������������������������ll surely be masti and a lot of magic!���������������������������
Behind the magic will be a lot of hard work and mastering the local language will require some of it. ���������������������������I���������������������������ve watched so many Tamil movies to get a hold of the language,��������������������������� she says, ���������������������������I���������������������������m making it a point to learn everything before I face the camera.���������������������������
That���������������������������s primarily because of the comedy track, and also due to the fact that the movie has a lot of dance sequences, something that the pretty girl loves. ���������������������������I���������������������������ve trained in classical dancing since I was young,��������������������������� she reveals, ���������������������������But, the problem is that every time I dance or work out, I tend to lose a lot of weight. So much so that I have to hit the gym again to gain weight!���������������������������
Ask her about her dream role and she���������������������������s quick to reply. ���������������������������I saw Paruthiveeran and loved Priyamani in it. I���������������������������d love to do something like that. And, of course, something like Kareena in Jab We Met ���������������������������that will suit me to the hilt.���������������������������
So, if she was offered such a role and if it does involve a lip-lock, will she do it? ���������������������������No, I have certain boundaries,��������������������������� she says, ���������������������������I don���������������������������t think that a kiss alone can make a film a hit.���������������������������
Shika reveals that she is on the lookout of more opportunities in K-town. ���������������������������There are so many exciting scripts out here,��������������������������� she says, ���������������������������Even the films that don���������������������������t feature big stars are doing well. That���������������������������s an encouraging trend and I would love to be part of it.���������������������������
