Interestingly, Jackie Shroff was recommended for this role by his Aaranya Kaandam director Thiagarajan Kumararaja. ���The makers reached out to me through him, and I took it up because my director had recommended me,��� he says. The Bollywood star is quite intrigued that he isn���t getting more work in Tamil films. ���I wonder why Tamil filmmakers are not approaching me often to act in films here. After Aaranya Kaandam, Rajinikanth called me to act in Kochadaiiyaan, but that was it,��� he says.
