'Thalapathy 67' audio rights sold for a whopping amount!

As the official announcement regarding the tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy 67’ was made on January 30, fans are now looking forward to more updates and information regarding the movie. The filmmakers announced that the movie’s music will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander in the press note they released. However, the work for the music for the film is reportedly yet to begin.

According to reports, an Indian music company has bagged the audio rights of the film for a whopping amount of Rs 16 crore. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film is part of the cinematic universe following ‘Kaithi’ and ‘Vikram’. The film features Vijay and Trisha in the lead role.

The rest of the cast includes Sanjay Dutt, Priya Anand, Sandy, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mathew Thomas among others. The filming for the movie began on January 2 in Chennai and the cast has now headed to Kashmir for their next schedule.
