Following the much-anticipated release of 'Jailer,' the next major Tamil film set to hit screens in the latter half of 2023 is 'Leo.' Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, this action thriller is scheduled to grace theaters on October 19. Recently, the Tamil Nadu State Government granted permission for 'Leo' to conduct a total of five shows daily in cinemas. This decision even included a special 7 AM show to cater to the Navratri holiday period, which runs from October 19 to October 24.
Speculation had arisen whether 'Leo' would host early 4 AM screenings, but Tamil Nadu's Information and Publicity Minister, Saminathan, has clarified the situation.

Speaking at a press conference on October 12, the minister made it clear that the film will not feature 4 AM shows. He explained that the state government had only approved one special show for the six days of the holiday period, although the exact showtimes have yet to be specified. He emphasized that there is no possibility of a 4 AM screening.
When queried about why Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' did not receive approval for an additional special show, the minister responded that the film's producers had not approached them to request such a show.
'Leo' is a high-octane action thriller boasting an ensemble cast including Vijay, Trisha, Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mathew Thomas, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Priya Anand in pivotal roles. Additionally, Anurag Kashyap makes a cameo appearance in the film. The movie's soundtrack is composed by the talented Anirudh Ravichander.
