'Suriya 43' to be shot in multiple locations for first schedule shooting

Actor Suriya after the successful film 'Soorarai Pottru', is once again collaborating withe director Sudha Kongara for his next film which is tentatively titled 'Suriya 43'. The film will star Suriya, Dulquer Salmaan, Nazriya Nazeem and Vijay Varma in lead roles. The film's music is composed by GV Prakash.

The new update is that the film shooting will be done in Chidambaram, Haryana, Madurai and Trichy for the first schedule of the movie. The film is likely to be titled 'Poorananooru' and it is said to be taken from real events. The film's story is touted to be about a gangster from Madurai who takes revenge against the people close to him for the bad traits they did to him. Sudha Kongara, earlier revealed that the film is not a biography but derived from real life events.

On the work front, Suriya is now engaged with dubbing works for 'Kanguva'. Directed by Siva, 'Kanguva' is a period action drama and the shooting for the movie was wrapped in January. Now, it has moved into post production and is likely to hit the screens in the second quarter of 2024. 'Kanguva' stars Suriya, Disha Patani, Bobby Deol in lead roles and the music for the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
