Sivakarthikeyan gets emotional at ‘Thaai Kizhavi’ event, praises wife Aarthy: ‘I don’t even know my account balance'
Actor and producer Sivakarthikeyan became emotional while speaking at the success bash of his latest production venture, Thaai Kizhavi.' The film, directed by Sivakumar Murugesan and featuring actors like Radhika Sarathkumar, Bala Saravanan, and Singampuli, was released on February 27 and received a warm response from audiences. During the event on March 11, Sivakarthikeyan offered some personal anecdotes related to the film and the individuals who contributed to its creation.
During his speech, Sivakarthikeyan recalled an emotional memory from an earlier film event. As per Filmibeat, he said that when he produced 'Nenjam Undu Nermai Undu Odu Raja,' the audience applauded when director Karthik Venugopalan’s name appeared on screen. At that moment, the director’s father hugged him with pride. Sivakarthikeyan said a similar moment happened again after watching 'Thaai Kizhavi.' He shared that director Sivakumar Murugesan’s father hugged both of them emotionally after the screening. The actor said that moment reminded him deeply of his own father and made him realise how meaningful such moments are in a filmmaker’s journey.
