Tamil cinema has produced several talented stars over the years, and still several more talents are coming in. But 20 years ago, actor Sibiraj made his entry into Tamil cinema, and he made his debut with the college action drama 'Student Number 1'. The Tamil remake of the Telugu film with the same title didn't go well for the actor. But the skilled actor didn't lose hope and fought hard to deliver several successful films in Tamil. After delivering several calm rural entertainers, Sibiraj joined hands with director Prabhu Solomon for 'Lee'. The football drama is about a group of youngsters and their wish of playing football for the nation. But the film is packed with twists and turns, Sibiraj delivered an impressive role to make the audience turn their heads toward him. 'Lee' was the first successful film Sibiraj at the box office.

Sibiraj played a cop in 'Naaigal Jaakirathai', which was directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan and it's a different role for the actor as he suffers from a mental illness. Sibiraj overcomes his disease to solve an important problem. Opened with positive reviews, 'Naaigal Jakkirathai' developed into a profitable venture for the makers, and the film was later dubbed in Hindi as 'Police Aur Tiger'.

Even though Sibiraj was attempting different roles, he didn't get the deserved success. But the 2017 mystery thriller proved his skills, and Sibiraj delivered yet another outstanding performance. Remya Nambeesan played the leading lady, while Varalaxmi Sarathkumar played an important role. 'Sathya' is the Tamil remake of the Telugu film 'Kshanam' and it was one of the most successful Telugu-Tamil remakes.

Sibiraj turned cop once again for 'Kabadadaari' the Tamil remake of the Kannada film 'Kavaludaari'. The neo-noir thriller film was released in theatres in 2021, and the film was a great hit. Sibiraj made the film more interesting with his crisp role, while Nassar played a crucial role to add power to the film. Simon K King scored the music and his music made the film more engaging.

Sibiraj starrer 'Maayon', which was directed by N Kishore, had its theatrical release in June 2022. The story of the film is about an archaeological team's research on an ancient temple and the mythological thriller film received positive reviews. 'Maayon' was a successful one at the box office as it grossed double the film's budget. 'Maayon' will also have a sequel to follow and it's going to be a bigger film from Sibiraj for sure.
