Sasikumar to Vaiyapuri: Photo shoots that set the internet on fire in recent times

It looks like the coronavirus-induced lockdown has brought to the fore some new avatars of namma Kollywood actors. From experimenting with new looks to trying on different styles, photo shoots of these celebrities have gone viral on the internet. And interestingly, these are the celebrities who do not do photo shoots at regular intervals…Here’s a look at those who surprised us recently…

For those who are used to seeing Sasikumar playing rustic characters on screen, it was a huge surprise when the actor shared pictures from his latest photo shoot in which he is seen in a super stylish avatar. The actor not only looks dapper in his new avatar and slick look, but also oozes confidence in these pictures. Needless to say, fans of the actor were in huge for a huge surprise.

The veteran actor cad in white pants, T shirt and yellow jacket, rocked the internet with his stylish look. Interestingly, Manobala was styled by NJ Sathya, the costume designer of Thalapathy Vijay’s 'Bairavaa' and 'Theri'. Actor Manobala shared the pictures of the photoshoot, shot by Prashun Prashant, through his social networking page.

Actor Dheena set the internet on fire with the recreation of Dhanush’s looks from films like Asuran and Aadukalam. The actor shared the pictures on his social media handle and captioned it, “My inspiration @dhanushkraja Anna movie recreations.. Thank you so much PC: @adaiks_guts Designer: @SVynod.” The Kaithi actor has been winning hearts and many have called the transformation, ‘mass-y’.

Former Bigg Boss contestant Vaiyapuri, looked not only stylish in his latest photo shoot, but also resembled the Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik in the pictures. Fans were quick to spot this. What made the photo shoot go more viral was that Dinesh Karthik himself acknowledged that Vaiyapuri does resemble him. The credit goes to costume designer NJ Sathya.

The recent photo shoot of Vivekh, dressed in stylish white and black attires, was a surprise to his fans. Styled and conceptualized by designer NJ Sathya, the photos were appreciated by many and some commented that the actor should try his hands at different kinds of roles. Elated with positive response from various quarters, he shared a picture along with the team which made it happened. His suave looks and styling won him a lot of praise.

Looking super stylish and colour-coordinated in black, Karunas and his wife Grace Karunas looked very much in love as the couple posed with each other in their recent photo shoot. While Karunaas was seen in a black suit, with a long beard and murukku meesai, Grace was seen happily smiling in a black gown. As the couple tried different poses for the shoot, they looked like two happy souls.

Nasser’s pictures in a stylish avatar were the talk of the town when they released. The actor went for an all-white look, sported a white tee with white trousers. He broke the monotony of the look with a classic denim jacket. The unkempt hair and long beard added to his overall appearance. With a combination of both serious and fun poses, this photo-shoot of the actor sure impressed many.

Popular actor and Bigg Boss contestant Saravanan wowed his fans with his photo shoot recently. The actor, who seemed to have lost oodles of weight for the shoot, sported a jacket, kurta and trousers for his look, along with cool glasses. He shared a glimpse of the same on his social media handle and captioned the pictures, “Thirumbi Vandutenu sollu (Tell them that I am back) (sic).”

Popular actor Sendrayan, too, decided to face the camera, this time around. Sporting a beige jacket and trousers, Sendrayan gave some fun poses, just like some of the characters he has done in his films.
