Santhanam is Nambiar

Srikanth and Santhanam will be working together for a new project titled 'Nambiar' after the legendary villain of yesteryear MN Nambiar, who played the bad guy in many MGR films! Debut director Ganesh Raja,, a former associate of SS Rajamouli is busy directing Nambiar right now and interesting the hero Srikanth doesn't get to play the title role, but it is Santhanam.
The film has Srikanth and Sunaina playing the lead pair with Vijay Antony being the music director. The film is touted to be a sci-fi comedy with lots of twists and turns. A comedy set against a backdrop of science fiction, the filmmakers say that they took permission from actor Nambiar���s son, Mohanan Nambiar, before zeroing down on the title, Nambiar.
