Actor
Samuthirakani has now responded to the controversy surrounding his viral video. The clip showed him speaking with director Bala and others, and many online users believed his comments targeted Vijay. This ignited outrage, with most fans criticizing Samuthirakani. As the video spread quickly on social media, it created confusion and debate about his true meaning. Now, the actor has come forward to explain his side clearly.
Samuthirakani explains the viral video
Talking about the viral clip in the latest media interaction, Samuthirakani said, “I knew they were recording the video when I was speaking, but they did not capture everything from the beginning.” As per The Hindu, he added, “Only the last part was taken and shared.” He explained that the video did not show the full conversation, which led to a misunderstanding. “They added their own meaning and did their work around it,” he said. He made it clear that the clip was not presented fully, causing people to assume things that were not completely true.
Samuthirakani accepts his words
Samuthirakani strongly stated that he always speaks honestly. He said, “I do not know how to keep one thing in my mind and speak something else outside.” He added, “Whether it is happiness or pain, I say it as it is and move on.” He also made it clear that he has no regrets about what he said. “I don’t see it as a mistake, and I am not sorry for speaking,” he shared. According to him, his words came from a place of concern and emotion, not with any hidden agenda.
Samuthirakani on the ongoing public reaction
The discussion gained more attention because it occurred when Vijay and Trisha were seen attending a wedding together, which was already a trending topic. Samuthirakani had earlier questioned such public appearances, saying, “So many things are happening, why take it outside? Shouldn’t it be kept within four walls?” However, he now clarified, “It was just concern and pain, what I felt at that moment.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Vijay was last seen in 'GOAT' and also his superhit film 'Theri' had a re-release recently. On the other hand, the audiences are eagerly waiting for the release of 'Jana Nayagan' which is directed by H Vinoth and also has Mamitha Baiju in a pivotal role.
