Sampath plays a baddie in Kaathadi

Sampath, who was last seen in Thoongaavanam, will now play a baddie in Kaathadi. The film, directed by S Kalyan, is said to be an action thriller. Talking about his role, Sampath says, ���I���ve been playing roles that have negative shades for quite some time now. But this one is different. It is related to smuggling, where they use different kinds of methods to smuggle.It is an interesting character.��� The film also has Dhanshika playing a cop for the first time. The film has been extensively shot in Chennai, Kerala and Yelagiri hills. Sampath is also busy in Telugu and Kannada film industries. ���I am doing Venkatesh���s Babu Bangaram and a film with Manchu Manoj. I also have a Kannada film with Nikhil Gowda (son of former Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy).
