​'RRR' pre-release Chennai event: Everything you wanted to know about the grand evening

Ram Charan and Jr.NTR starrer 'RRR', directed by SS Rajamouli is set for a grand release in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi on January 7. The expectations for the film are high, and the team has been addressing fans and media in various cities ahead of the release. A grand 'RRR' pre-release event was held in Chennai yesterday and the lead stars including the director met fans at the event. A grand welcome for the 'RRR' trio

Fans gathered in large numbers to welcome Ram Charan, Jr.NTR, and SS Rajamouli. But due to the pandemic restriction, 500 people including stars were only allowed to enter the event.

Chief guest Sivakarthikeyan's speech

Sivakarthikeyan has been a huge fan of SS Rajamouli post the release of 'Magadheera', and the director is a big inspiration for the actor as he is an example of how to stay simple despite reaching great heights. Sivakarthikeyan addressed 'RRR' as an Indian film and wished that the film will break box office records as he is eyeing to watch the FDFS. Sivakarthikeyan also said that 'RRR' and 'Valimai', which are the two early releases of 2022 will be a feast for fans.

Unlike Sivakarthikeyan, Ajith, and Vijay, Ram Charan is not well versed with the Tamil language but has dubbed for the Tamil version of the film. He has also assured fans that he will keep his brotherhood and relationship with his 'RRR' co-actor Jr.NTR as long as he lives.

SS Rajamouli thanked the chief guest of the event Sivakarthikeyan for his continuous support for the team during previous launches and calls him an ardent supporter of 'RRR'. The ace director has also revealed that 'RRR' USA pre-sales gross has already 2 million dollars with 10 days to release because Jr.NTR and Ramcharan are coming together.
