Actor Rajinikanth is currently shooting for his film ‘Jailer’ with Nelson Dilipkumar. Following this, Rajinikanth has signed up for two films with producer Subaskaran; out of which one of the movies titled ‘Laal Salaam’ is directed by Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth. Now, reports suggest that Rajinikanth’s upcoming film which will tentatively be called ‘Thalaivar 171’ is said to be directed by P Vasu.
Reportedly, the pre-production work of the movie is underway and it is said that P Vasu will be directing the movie. Director Vasu had previously collaborated with Rajinikanth for the movies ‘Panakkaran’, ‘Mannan’, ‘Chandramukhi’ and 'Kuselan'. P Vasu is currently shooting for ‘Chandramukhi 2’ with Raghava Lawrence and is reportedly said to take a small break from the movie shooting to work on a new script for Rajinikanth.
On the work front, Rajinikanth, after shooting for ‘Jailer’ is said to collaborate with one of the young directors – Pradeep Ranganathan or Ciby Chakravarthy. However, it is not yet clear with whom Rajinikanth will be collaborating as the actor is yet to select the script. It is expected in the coming days, the official announcement will be made about the future projects of the superstar.
