Rajinikanth extends support to actor-producer VA Durai

VA Durai worked as an executive producer in Rajinikanth's 'Baba', and he was paid Rs 51 lakh for his work in the film. VA Durai has also produced several films like 'Ennama Kannu', 'Lootu', 'Pithamagan', 'Gajendran', and, 'Naaikutti', among others. But the former producer is struggling with his needs, and he recently sought help from cinema stars for his medical treatment.Rajinikanth has pledged to support VA Durai, and contacted the latter over the phone. After coming to know about VA Durai's illness and financial struggle, Rajinikanth contacted his 'Baba' executive producer through a phone call and promised to support him with his medical treatment.
Rajinikanth has also promised to meet him after completing the shooting of 'Jailer' as he is busy with the filming of Nelson Dilipkumar's directorial. Rajinikanth has also reportedly sent some initial support for the producer through his team. The shooting of 'Jailer' is happening in Chennai, and the team is expected to move to Hyderabad for their next schedule.
VA Durai shared a great bonding with Rajinikanth when he worked together with the actor for 'Baba' and he also won praise from the actor for his hard work.
Earlier, Suriya came in to support his 'Pithamagan' producer VA Durai during his critical time and donated him cash of Rs 2 lakhs.
