Darbar

. Having completed the Jaipur schedule, the team has now flown back to Mumbai for its new schedule. With only 25 to 30 of shooting left, this could well be the final schedule of shooting for the film.
Shooting spot stills of 'Darbar' have leaked once again in social media. A picture of Rajinikanth in cop uniform next to a police car conversing with Nayanthara is doing the rounds on the internet.
The team is said to have canned some talkie portions and a grand song in Jaipur over the last two weeks. The film has piqued the interest of Rajinikanth fans as the actor will don the uniform after 25 long years. Touted to be police-oriented action film, Rajinikanth is paired opposite Nayanthara. Nawab Shah, who was last seen in Tiger Zinda Hai, has been roped in as a villain. Suniel Shetty is already playing the antagonist in the film. Bollywood actor Prateik Babbar, plays the son of Sunil Shetty in the film.
Interestingly, transgender actress Jeeva who had worked with Vijay Sethupathi in Dharma Durai is also part of the cast. The film tars Yogi Babu, Anandaraj, Harish Uttaman, and Bose Venkat in important roles. The Mumbai-set film is scheduled for release on January 9, 2020.
The film bankrolled by Lyca Productions has Santosh Sivan handling the cinematography for the film and Anirudh Ravichander will be composing the music.
