Raghava Lawrence's next release 'Chandramukhi 2' is one of the most anticipated Tamil films of this year. After playing the lead role in his directorial series 'Kanchana', Raghava Lawrence has opted to do a sequel to Rajinikanth's superhit film 'Chandramukhi'. He will be reprising Rajinikanth's character as Vettaiyan in the horror comedy,and the actor-choreographer-director has now unveiled his first look poster. Interestingly, Raghava has given a special thanks to Superstar Rajinikanth.
Talking about the poster, Lawrence is seen sporting a new look for his character Vettiayan, and he looks intense and powerful in the role of a king. 'Chandramukhi 2' is now officially locked to release for the occasion of Vinayagar Chaturthi in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
The shooting of 'Chandramukhi 2' was wrapped up a few weeks ago, and the film's post-production work is happening briskly. Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani is scoring the music for his comeback to Tamil, and he recently completed scoring the background music for the film. MM Keeravani worked sleeplessly for two months to complete the background music of 'Chandramukhi 2', and he shared his appreciation to his team for the film's brilliant outcome by giving a shoutout on his social media page.
Directed by P. Vasu, 'Chandramukhi 2' features Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut in lead roles with a stellar supporting cast that includes Mahima Nambiar, Lakshmi Menon, Vadivelu, Raadhika, Subiksha, Suresh Menon, and Ravi Maria, among others. R. D. Rajasekhar has handled the cinematography, while the editing is done by Anthony.
