Actors often tend to fall for the directors' art of filmmaking and so do the directors get impressed with the actor's versatility and hardwork. Thus, the audience often witnesses a particular actor in a specific director's film and the reason behind their collaboration may be their rapport towards each other. Interestingly, this is just not the case with only the leading actors but sometimes the supporting cast is also seen in the film directed by a specific director. Actor Premgi Amaren is the brother of director Venkat Prabhu, and he has scored music in several films in Tamil. Premgi Amaren made his acting debut with a popular role in his brother Venkat Prabhu's debut directorial 'Chennai 600028'. Since then Premgi Amaren hasn't missed being part of any films made by his brother. Though not as the lead, he is seen in a supporting role in all films of Venkat Prabhu. This shows their bonding and the brothers are mostly spotted together during gatherings.

Director Pandiraj started his career by delivering back-to-back successful films. The talented director first roped in comedy actor Soori for a role in his fourth director 'Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga'. Pandiraj was then impressed by the work of Soori and made him the leading comedian in many of his films. Soori has joined hands with Pandiraj for the fifth time in his directorial starring Suriya in the lead role.

Being a talented director, Manivannan has acted in several Tamil films, and has received a lot of appreciation from the audience with his unique acting. Manivannan has a good rapport with director KS Ravikumar, and he has acted in his six directorial films. All roles of Mannivannan in KS Ravikumar are peculiar ones. Moreover, Mannivannan's role alongside Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan in the respective films 'Padayappa' and 'Panchathanthiram' were well appreciated.

Vetri Maaran made his debut with the 2007 action-drama 'Polladhavan' starring Dhanush in the lead role. Actor Pawan is usually spotted in Kishore's gang in the film, and he played a notable role. Pawan has collaborated with director Vetri Maaran in four films so far, and the capable actor was presented strongly by the director at all times.

Bobby Simha did a cameo role in Karthi Subbaraj debut directorial 'Pizza'. But he impressed one and all with his noteworthy performance as an antagonist in his second film with Karthik Subbaraj's 'Jigarthanda' for which Bobby Simha bagged the National Award. Subbaraj. Bobby Simha has recently joined Karthik Subbaraj's next film 'Chiyaan 60', and it marks his sixth film with the talented director.
