Prabhudheva will be teaming up with Malayalam filmmaker SJ Sinu for a new project whose title is inspired from one of the actor-choreographer’s popular hit numbers from the ’90s — Petta Rap.
“It will be a musical action film with all the necessary ingredients — including six fight sequences and six songs — required for a proper commercial entertainer,” states Sinu.
The film will see Vedhika pairing up with Prabhudheva for the first time. Talking about their characters, the director says, “Prabhudheva plays the role of an aspiring actor while Vedhika leads a music band. ”
Actors Bagavathi Perumal, Vivek Prasanna, Ramesh Thilak, Mime Gopi and Riyaz Khan are also part of this film, which will have music by D Imman and cinematography by Jithu Damodar. It will go on floors on June 15, in Puducherry.
