Actor Suriya was last seen on the big screen by playing a cameo role in ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ which was released on July 1. He also played an extended cameo role in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘Vikram’ which is a blockbuster hit. On the work front, the actor played the major role in ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’ after giving back-to-back hits through ‘Soorarai Pottru’ and ‘Jai Bhim’.
He is now shooting for his tentatively titled ‘Suriya 41’ directed by Bala. Playing alongside Krithi Shetty, the second schedule shooting is underway. Suriya will also soon start work for his delayed project with director Siva which is tentatively called ‘Suriya 39’.
The movie was delayed due to the change in its producer because of a big budget. A couple of days ago, it was reportedly confirmed that the makers of Prabha’s ‘Saaho’ and ‘Radhe Shyam’ will be producing the film. Now, there is a new buzz that Suriya will be romancing Pooja Hegde in this film. Pooja Hegde got her fame in Tamil film industry after her movie ‘Beast’ with Vijay. Reportedly, after Nayanthara and Samantha, Pooja Hegde is one of the prominent actresses of South and it is expected that she will be joining the cast of the movie to play as the female lead alongside Suriya.
According to reports, the movie makers have initiated the talks with the actress and the official announcement of the actress agreeing to be on board of the film is expected to be done soon. Soon after this, the actor will begin shooting for his film ‘Vaadivaasal’ in Chennai with director ‘Vetrimaaran’ which is about the Tamil sport Jalikattu in July.
