'Ponniyin Selvan': Here's an important change in the latest poster you may have missed

Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan' is preparing for a grand release in five languages on September 30th, and the film's final work is under process. The makers have released a new poster to announce the IMAX release of 'Ponniyin Selvan'. But have you noticed the important change in 'Ponniyin Selvan' latest poster? A new poster featuring Chiyaan Vikram was published by the makers recently, and the makers have made a change. Earlier Vikram was spotted with a Naamam (forehead mark) in the teaser of 'Ponniyin Selvan', and it stirred up controversy since the Cholas didn't follow Naamam. Also, a court notice was sent against Mani Ratnam and Chiyaan Vikram over the factual error by lawyer Selvam.

But it looks like the makers have corrected the factual errors since Chiyaan Vikram is spotted with a Pattai (forehead mark) in the latest poster of 'Ponniyin Selvan'. There have been huge expectations on 'Ponniyin Selvan' as the film explains the history of the Chola Kingdom, and we expect the makers to be keener on the film's content to avoid controversies as millions have an eye on the film.

'Ponniyin Selvan' second single is set to be launched next, and the makers have also been planning a grand audio launch for the AR Rahman musical. The main stars of the film will also be touring across the globe to promote the film from September second week.
