'Ponniyin Selvan 2' trailer: Things you need to look out for!
The magnum opus of Mani Ratnam 'Ponniyin Selvan' created history last year. Now the sequel of the film 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' is all set to hit the big screens on April 28. Starring Vikram, Trisha, Jayam Ravi, Karthi and Aishwarya Rai in the lead roles, the historic drama has a huge anticipation and the film's trailer will be launched on March 29. The story narration
The first part of the film had Kamal Haasan narrating the introduction of the movie. It can be expected that the second part of the movie to have a different narrator as a secret element from the movie makers that might be revealed with the trailer. It will also give us the sneak peak of the rise of Chola dynasty.

The secret
As the character - Ponniyin Selvan or Arul Mozhi Varman has been saved by the Oomai Rani multiple times and the character holds a strong hold to how she plays an important role in the life of the prince, we can expect the trailer to give away the secret of who the Oomai Rani is which is played by Aishwarya Rai. Aishwarya Rai plays dual role in the film - one as the antagonist Queen Nandhini and the other as the deaf and dumb queen.

The continuation of the cliff hanging climax
As 'Ponniyin Selvan 1' left everyone baffled with the ending of Arul Mozhi Varman and Vandhiyathevan losing their way in sea due to a cyclone, we can expect the trailer of the sequel to start from that point giving the audience a brush of their memory. Trailer can give us the hints if the two main leads survived or not.

The sequel of the film is said to have 7 songs. The audio juke box will be revealed on March 29 at the trailer launch. However, with the updates from the production house that is producing the film, it looks like 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' will have a lot of romantic songs and many more sung by female singers. The promo reveals Chinmayi, Shweta Mohan, Sakthisree Gopalan and Rakshita among others recording for 'PS 2'.
