Popular 80s actor
Mohan is making a comeback in films with
Haraa
. While the actor is known for his soft-spoken roles in films like
Mouna Ragam
, Payanangal Mudivathillai, Idhaya Kovil, and Mella Thirandhadhu Kadhavu, this film will be an action drama directed by
Vijay Sri G, who had previously made Dhadha 87.
"He will be seen in an action-based role. The story revolves around the relationship between a father and his daughter, and urges that it is essential to introduce Indian law to our kids right from school itself. The film will register a common man's anger," the director had told us previously.
While the team — which is currently busy with the film's shoot — had previously released a glimpse from the film, now, they have come up with a request to

MK Stalin, following

's decision to grant three days
menstrual leave
for women.
"At a time when we are shooting a sequence in which Mohan's character requests his daughter's school to grant her menstrual leave, it is heartening to hear about the Spanish government's announcement. We hope that our Chief Minister MK Stalin will also consider implementing a similar decision in our homeland," the team has stated in a press statement shared by its publicist.
On May 10, the team had come up with a glimpse of the film, which also showed veteran actor
Charuhasan playing the antagonist's role. Interestingly, Charuhasan had played the lead in the director's debut film Dhadha 87.
Haraa will also see Mohan pairing up with actress
Khushbu for the first time in a Tamil film.
