Mansoor Ali Khan
Convicted of rape, Mansoor Ali Khan was sentenced to 7 years imprisonment by the Sessions Court in March 2001. Later, in 2012, Mansoor Ali Khan proved in the Madras High Court that the women had made false allegations against him. Then the court ordered the woman to pay compensation of Rs 50 lakh for Mansoor Ali Khan. However, he faced another arrest in 2012, this time on allegations of land-grabbing. He was accused of illegally erecting a 16-storey structure in Arumbakkam, Chennai.

Shaam
In 2020, law enforcement officers conducted a raid on the home of the well-known Tamil actor Shaam. During the investigation, it came to light that 13 individuals, including actor Shaam, were engaged in illegal gambling, specifically playing cards at a residence. Consequently, they were promptly apprehended for their participation in the unlawful gambling.

Jai
In 2017, actors Jai and Premji narrowly escaped when the former actor's luxury car crashed into the retaining wall of the Adyar Bridge in Chennai. Actor Jai was arrested for crashing his luxury car while drunk and causing an accident, and later he was released on bail. The Traffic Investigation Police then recommended the cancellation of Jai's license.

Powerstar Srinivasan
In 2017, actor Powerstar Srinivasan faced arrest by a Delhi Crime Branch officer in connection with a fraud case. He was accused of falsely promising to provide a 1000 crore loan while charging a 10 crore commission. The allegations against Powerstar Srinivasan involved defrauding individuals by taking substantial commissions in exchange for arranging loans. As a result of these allegations, six cases were filed against Srinivasan, leading to prison time in Vellore Jail. He was subsequently released on bail.

Ravindran
Filmmaker Ravindran faced allegations of deceit related to an investment proposal promising substantial profits from converting solid waste into energy. An investigation was initiated following a complaint filed by Balaji, who claimed Ravindran had defrauded him of Rs 16 crore. During the police inquiry, it was uncovered that Ravindran had employed counterfeit documents in the scheme. Consequently, Ravindran was arrested a few days ago in connection with this case.
